I know I’m preaching to the choir but the kids could literally be 23-24 filming the final season of pjo and I’d support them. It matters infinitely more that they were cast at an appropriate age than the passage of time and how long it takes to make a tv show

So much of the joy of reboots like Mickey mouse and ducktales is that it comes from a really earnest and heartfelt place and targets a similar audience to that of its predecessors and comes from the heart of disney animation. I don't know if a darkwing reboot not in the hands

I loved the choice to make this episode a little more quiet and introspective. Making it about the kids and their relationships, alluding to their fatal flaws, I think is a lot stronger than if it had been a super crazy energy action episode

Not only did the DuckTales team knock it out of the park creating Della's character, but they made her canonically disabled as well. This was such a wonderful surprise, and it's amazing that she's such a prominent character too. This isn't some blink and you'll miss it rep.
