@mothergan And tbh that’s besides the point. It’s still much easier and less time consuming to maintain looser textured hair. It’s literally less physically demanding to detangle. It doesn’t shrink as much and create more tangles due to shrinkage. It doesn’t break off if it’s not wrapped up

@mothergan Hair density plays a major part in it. Some people have crazy thick 4C hair- as in their strands of hair are thick and they have a LOT of strands.
