And I’m just getting started. I listen to my music/beats from 2019-2020 compared to my current music and I hear the growth. Makes me think, what is my music gonna sound like in 2030? Exciting.

Making songs on my beats and prepping albums from scratch taught me so much. More than producing (beatmaking) could. From the mindset of an engineer , to the mindset of a producers, to the writer to the composer - all the way to the marketing. This Is Self Growth.

Having a plan / rollout for your work is just as important as creating the work. You can have 100 songs / 100 beats but with No Plan on how to premiere/reach - it’s useless.

My goal is to create something that sounds nothing like what I made yesterday. Change the Bpm, keys , sounds all that.

Would you rather have 25 beats sounding completely different or 250 beats that sound pretty much the same? Your brain and ears need a break to create new waves. Rome wasn’t built in a day type shit. This ain’t a race.

I used to make 30 beats a day until I realized how similar production sounds when cramming it into one day. This isn’t a numbers game.

Tonight I’m making the tracklist art. I’m stuck if I wanna use leftover pictures from the shoot, or should I take new photos from diff angles (for the back cover). We’ll see.

Photoshoot for my new album was on Monday. Last night I colorized the pics, framed it and officially made the album cover (with titles etc). This is my favorite album art I made to date. I wanna post it but I have 5 diff variations. Kinda in my head about this.

Trying So hard to work with people that don’t give a fuck about you is a lose-lose. Do it for yourself, do it for the passion, do it for the love. The ones you wanted to work with will end up watching you in the end, soon as you create authentic art. They’ll see it.

I’d rather make music for my 500-1000 listeners and be myself than produce/write for majors and create music that doesn’t resonate with me/my story.
