๐งธI wish we could have such dolls in toy shops of #Uzbekistan. In the photo: Barbie dolls using wheelchairs and there is a ramp inside. Such toys are good for children to understand the human diversity and inclusion. Whil disable children can be empowered by such toys themselves.

๐งIt's hard to believe the results of this survey as it raises several concerns on how it was conducted. How many people participated? Was there a triangulation of the results using other methods (interviews, FGDs)? How biased were responses? I reflected:
๐ A recent survey on labor market barriers for young persons with disabilities revealed: ๐ 40% engage in informal work (88.1% of women, 45.8% of men). ๐ 12% identify disability as a challenge in securing employment. ๐ 79.2% report positive workplace relationships, challenging assumptions of pervasive discrimination. ๐ 5.6%, despite being classified as โunable to workโ, are currently active in the labor market. Addressing these disparities is critical for inclusive labor policies. More at: #DisabilityInclusion #LaborMarket
