@lombarj2 @BraddrofliT You're confusing what I said I said what should be happening according to the Bible. Quite clearly people aren't living the Bible, including the scum "preachers" you're talking about. Nor have I voiced my opinion on this topic until just now.

"Render to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s” (Mark 12:17) is a principle about rightful authority—acknowledging that government has a role, but it does not own our ultimate allegiance. If His point was merely self-preservation, why did He add the part about giving to God? Even historical scholars recognize this statement as a foundational Christian principle about the limits of government power and personal duty to God. Jesus’ response was clever, yes, but not just to avoid death—it was a deliberate teaching on balancing civic duty with divine authority.

@knightsin @Angela_Twenty2 @adgirlMM @LDM_tigergirl Two different issues. Biden says he's a Christian, he's clearly not...or at least not a Catholic. What you're talking about is greed, which the bible is very explicit on and I'm sure you would agree. Actually, most of what you're upset about is greed.

@knightsin @Angela_Twenty2 @adgirlMM @LDM_tigergirl One years worth of data huh? Interesting. We will never run out of resources/product. New ones are constantly being created. For example: AI. New inventions will only come at a faster clip. But we'll never agree and that's ok.

@NoMisery @knightsin @Angela_Twenty2 @adgirlMM @LDM_tigergirl Yeah, not what I said at all. Would this country exist if we didn't spend $800b on warfare? It wouldn't. Now, what we need to do is eliminate the fraud from that $800 billion thats going in the back pockets of corrupt politician.

✔ The World Bank does not contradict the fact that global poverty has declined significantly over the past few decades. •Since 1990, global extreme poverty has dropped from 36% to 9.2%. (World Bank) •The COVID-19 pandemic temporarily reversed some progress, but that does not negate the long-term trend of economic improvement through market-driven growth. ✔ Regarding the UK, inequality has fluctuated but is not at record highs. •The Gini coefficient, which measures income inequality, has remained relatively stable in the UK since the 1990s, despite short-term variations. •The poorest 20% saw a decline in disposable income recently, but inequality levels are still below their 1980s peak. (ONS) ✔ Economic growth—not government redistribution—has historically reduced poverty. •Countries that embraced free markets saw dramatic improvements (e.g., China, India), while socialist economies (Venezuela, Cuba) have seen economic decline and worsening inequality. ➡ The World Bank acknowledges recent challenges but still confirms that global poverty has dropped dramatically over the past 30 years. Short-term setbacks do not disprove the long-term benefits of economic freedom in reducing inequality and poverty.

✔ Seeking truth means having honest, respectful discussions—not dismissing differing viewpoints. ✔ Christianity teaches love, humility, and grace (Colossians 4:6 – “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt.”). Disagreeing doesn’t mean contempt—it means we are engaging in important conversations. ✔ Everyone has beliefs—just because someone holds to biblical principles doesn’t make their views “narrow” any more than someone else’s views being “broad” makes them correct. ✔ Truth is not subjective—Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6). Whether we agree or not, our goal should be truth, not just personal satisfaction. ➡ Respectful dialogue is key. Disagreeing is not contempt—let’s focus on truth and understanding, not assumptions about motives. I have not once… Stated that I was a Christian or implied that I was. You sound like a victim to me… I'm sorry if I got that wrong. I came from nothing… And worked myself into a pretty successful career, life and family. I do believe greatly and helping others… That's one of the great things about being successful… being able to do so. I believe in doing that how I want to do it and not being told how to do it by the government. A government that can't seem to do anything correct and is full of corruption. History… Has a very long record of government corruption and not handling taxpayer money well. I provided several data points that cannot be disputed.

✔ Jesus’ statement “Render to Caesar what is Caesar’s” (Mark 12:17) was not an endorsement of how Rome spent tax money—it was a recognition of lawful authority, not a political statement about economic policy. ✔ Rome’s grain dole (annona) was not a welfare system based on equality—it was a tool to pacify the masses and prevent uprisings. •By the 3rd century AD, nearly half of Rome’s population relied on free grain, which contributed to economic decline and government insolvency. (Oxford Classical Dictionary) •Rome heavily taxed provinces to fund it, leading to widespread economic stagnation and resentment. (The Fall of the Roman Empire, Peter Heather) ✔ Rome was authoritarian, but that doesn’t make modern comparisons irrelevant. •The lesson from Rome is that when a government overtaxes and overspends on welfare, it creates economic instability. •Even in modern democracies, excessive government dependency can lead to economic collapse, as seen in Venezuela and Greece, where overreliance on government programs led to crisis. (IMF Report on Greece) ✔ Again, Jesus was not advocating for government-controlled welfare—He consistently promoted personal generosity (Luke 12:33, 2 Corinthians 9:7). ➡ Jesus did not endorse the Roman grain dole—He simply acknowledged government authority. Rome’s economic failures serve as a cautionary tale, not a model for modern welfare policies.

Your claim suggesting that “Musk’s teenage felons” have until February 12 to comply and delete stolen data are factually incorrect. 1.Court Order Details – U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer issued an injunction requiring individuals with unauthorized access to U.S. Treasury data to destroy it immediately. The next court hearing is set for February 14, not February 12. (Source: AP News) 2.Who is Involved – There is no evidence supporting the claim that “teenage felons” are at the center of this issue. The order applies broadly to DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) associates who accessed sensitive records. Compliance Timeline – The judge’s directive requires immediate deletion of the data, not a delayed deadline. Any suggestion of a grace period until February 12 is misleading. Your claim (aka: lie) distorts both the nature of the individuals involved and the actual compliance timeline. The focus should remain on the legal proceedings and enforcement of the court’s ruling.

✔ Not all wealthy people “tread on others”—many build businesses that create jobs, innovation, and economic growth. Thinking so is a victim mentality, and why you're likely not wealthy. ✔ Philanthropy benefits millions—it’s not just about tax deductions. •In 2022, charitable giving in the U.S. totaled $499 billion, with individuals contributing 64%. (Giving USA) •Over 90% of billionaires donate to charity, funding education, healthcare, and poverty relief. (Forbes) •The Gates Foundation alone has donated over $65 billion to fight poverty and disease worldwide. (Gates Foundation) ✔ Economic freedom lifts more people out of poverty than socialism: •Since 1990, global extreme poverty has dropped from 36% to 9.2%—driven by free-market economies, not government redistribution. (World Bank) ✔ Personal dislike of Trump is a separate issue—economic policies should be evaluated on measurable results, not personal opinions. Trump is driving corruption, that's being done under the name of "charity" out- this will provide MORE to the needy. ➡ Wealth is not inherently exploitative, and philanthropy has lifted millions out of poverty. Dismissing all wealthy people as corrupt ignores the real, positive impact of private charity, and is a victim mentality.
