This is a great step forward for Monero . I think the privacy risk is overblown. The way to use it privately is to use a new email alias for every card purchase. In this way, the provider of the cards doesn't have a history of all of your purchases tied to one email address.

Well that's an old story. In the early 90s, I was involved in a mailing list called "cypherpunks". It was for discussing encryption/privacy (PGP, Deffie-Helman,etc.) Old posts are still at . One is to wonder if Satoshi Nakamoto came out of this group.

2/4 This March 4th transaction just doesn’t show up on Ywallet. Then I did a churn of the whole balance to myself which doesn’t show anywhere. But now in Ywallet, that March 4th transaction from

3/4 There is inconsistency in transaction history between the wallets. Another thing I noticed is that zcash wallets download around 300 blocks from the remote node at a time to scan, whereas
#Monero
wallets download around 900-1000 blocks, so sync in monero is much faster.
