Why does the swift and combined support for John Swinney appear so contrived and false? Stephen Flynn’s blink rate went off the scale when challenged about his support. The men in grey kilts? Red hot phone lines at the weekend? Seat warming in return for enhanced pension?

I would like the Presiding Officer to deal with breaches of the Code of Conduct in the Chamber as they occur. Harvie and Greer were in clear breach of at least 3 clauses when they attacked Kate Forbes last week.

This statement could have shown a tad more support of Baillie Gifford. It reads as though you have sympathies with the artists etc but have no alternative to continue the relationship with the sponsor. Businesses surely warrant a bit more loyalty from those they sponsor.

I would like to see a basic standard of entry to Parliament. The standards and quality of MSPs and debate have sunk to the level of a 3rd year Lit and Deb Society (school that is). Too many careerists/Spads and councillors. We need real life meaningful work experience as minimum.
