@anothercohen If you can make a higher return investing the money you'd otherwise use as a down payment, paying interest on a mortgage, property taxes, paying for inevitable maintenance, etc., then for you, renting is better (financially) than buying.

@lawyer4SMBs Agreed. people transact with people, and we’re all emotional to some degree, so transaction prices always reflect *some* emotion. But still - look at valuation multiples from the 1970’s and 1980’s when interest rates were higher
