Pharrell told Variety that the film didn't live up to it's idea, it was in early postproduction meaning it will never be finished, also that when they all got to the editing room they decided there wasn’t a path forward to tell the version of this story that was envisioned.

Halle says that she has enough songs about Halo for Mother's Day but she's focused on finishing something else!
