First person in my family to gain a Masters degree - raised by a โsingle parentโ following the divorce of my parents. A Mum (& Grandma & Auntie) who has stood by my side in the best, and worst of times. Spouting bullshit statistics, for what agenda?
Children from single parent families tend to do worse academically than children from divorced families. Interestingly kids raised by fathers are unaffected by this statistic. Kids raised by mothers alone have worse outcomes.
