Made my first speech to @Edinburgh_CC Full Council today, proposing a Conservative amendment for an evidence-based review of Council #socialmedia. While supported by @EdinburghLibDem, the Green motion for an X/Twitter ban was passed with SNP & Labour votes.

#ColintonFairmilehead is quite a rural area. We have sheep 🐑, fields of crops and our famous Highland Cows! So it was no surprise to see many local residents out supporting our farmers opposing Labour’s #familyfarmtax.

The NFU is planning a protest rally on the City Bypass on Sun 2 Feb. Starting at 10am, tractors will travel from Old Craighall to Gogar roundabout and then make the return journey to the A1. To minimise disruption they'll be single file in the inside lane.
