@steverandallUK I think the ££ leads the decision making, in many respects shortsightedly. As a listener I don't want to feel I am a pair of ears being delivered to an advertiser. This applies to having to sign up with personal deets in order to listen to a programme on demand.

@steverandallUK I was once told 'daytime for revenue, evening for reputation'. It made sense to me at the time, before 'on demand' came along.

@JasonRosam Dad's family lived within a stone's throw of CJ. I loved visiting.... Battersea Park, Arding & Hobbs in the 70s. Grandparents met working on the railway ... him at Vauxhall and her at CJ. Lots of locals worked on railways and the power station of course. Census is fascinating.
