Chief Secretary Mr. T.V.S.N Prasad, today said a significant seizure totaling ₹34.77 crore by enforcement agencies from March 1 to May 2. The haul, including cash, liquor, drugs, and precious metals, underscores our commitment to stamp out illicit activities during elections.

The Chief Secretary expressed confidence that participants in this national-level competition in Gurugram will also showcase their prowess on the international stage.

Chief Secretary Prasad administered an oath to citizens and participants, urging them to maximize voter turnout on Election Day, May 25.

He directed the senior officials to coordinate with neighboring states to gather information about the source state of the seized liquor. Additionally, he emphasized the need for heightened vigilance in districts bordering the national capital Delhi, and other states.

Furthermore, they are encouraged to utilize social media platforms extensively, in addition to print and electronic media, to disseminate information among the public.

A total of 219 auxiliary polling stations will be set up in the state.
