I created a little visualization of the OpenCRISPR-1 protein by @ProfluentBio I came across this project on a podcast and was fascinated by it. Each dot is associated with an amino acid in the overall AI-generated protein. Read more about it here. @jeffruffolo

Generative Art + Physical Art - Create an algorithm to generate the composition - There are 3 possible rotations for each element with an equal probability of occurring - Print out the composition ((13x19in)) and trace the shape of each element using @sakuraofamerica Pigma Micron pens size 10 and 1 - Elements not matched to a neighbor get the gray/black color pattern and size 1 pen outline. - Elements that are matched vertically get one color pattern. - Elements matched horizontally get the other color pattern. - I used @PrismacolorUS Premier pens - This piece took about 10 hours to complete.
