It's correct, we only track the core repo. Tracking all repos does not make any sense, lots of unrelated code in their that does not affect the real development.

Fixing a bug we introduced a new bug making the update mechanism stop. We just fixed it. Updates will roll out gradually in the next 48 hours. Lots of new commits for $PASC we've noticed, way to go!

We're currently looking into how to deal with forks. As of now, forks are included in these our stats, which they shouldn't. We're working on finding the overlap in repos, and subtract these commits.

FYI, nowhere on CryptoMiso it claims to make buying recommendations. It is what it is, a ranking of # of commits of core repo. Tracking all repos makes even less sense than tracking only the core repo.

We track the repo with the most followers and most forks. We can manually override this if this isn't the core repo, but it most cases it is.
