Last day of radiation tomorrow, man they were kidding that it really ramps up at the end! Havenāt eaten solid food nor able to get down shakes or water at a decent rate. Tongue is swollen as shit as well as throat š. Luckily Iāll get 2 bags of fluid tomorrow.

Welpā¦ seems Iāve been given a trial to overcome my friends. After many biopsyās, scans and visits. Seems Iāll ultimately be having either surgery and chemo or chemo and radiation on account of the dreaded cancer. So with this information, we move forward.

So hereās an update for those who have shown interest and kept in contact. Went to see my oncologist today, took some blood for HPV and gene tracing. PET scan has shown 4 spots in my lungs basically 1 in each lobe. One specifically is rather concerning. So here we go lung cancer.

Quick update : no need for speech therapy visits, radiation nurse visits , nor hydration unless I choose itās necessary. See oncologist in a month for follow up and scans. Weāre moving along nicely.

Chemo #5 done , had to find a new vein in my right hand as my left forearm has fought valiantly for 4 weeks but alasā¦ the veins will suffer no more. Chemo takes a toll on em.

Belt size went from a solid 38 to currently 32-36 in a month. Not badā¦ not bad at all. Thanks cancer ! Now I gotta bulk up so I can loose it anyway lol. (Yes this isnāt funny, also yes itās funny to me) stfu if you donāt get my humor.

Just got home , feeling good probably due to those 2 bags of fluid. Got to keep the IV in thankfully so I donāt need to be poked and prodded tomorrow morning for more hydration fluids. Day 1 of chemo in the books !.

Well, all that seems to handle now is radiation after a few weeks of recovery. Learning how to swallow again, speech is a bit off so thereās that as well. But I am home , and let just say this. FUCK CANCER.

Employee appreciation day yesterday eveningā¦ boyyyyyy that ribeye was perfect! Was a bit nervous honestly because itās been nearly a year since my surgeries and my jaw isnāt as strong as it was but I got through the entire thing so that was a huge mental health boost for me

Well my uncle Jerry passed this morning. He was an amazing person, a Marine veteran , a father, a brother and the most kind person Iāve truly ever met. He has fought through 4 types of cancer and finally he needed the rest. Rest in peace uncle Jerry I love you.
