CONTEXT: i'm ND and struggle(d) with disability. presently, i don't label my condition as disability, because i've managed and reduced the dehabilitating effects of my condition where i can pass as able. not everyone has this luxury

the playing field is (not to anyone's fault) uneven. you MUST understand that we have made our own adjustments to make this game playable PRIOR to screen's introduction. this includes:
- colour lock
- screen brightness adjusts
- muting/lowering volume
- turning off motion

those w/ visual impairments/sensory conditions have already MADE adjustments to play splatoon safely. but screen is causing literal seizures, severe harm, strong discomfort, and renders the existing accessibility features (colour lock) useless. i think that's extremely alarming

i really like the idea of screen, but people are suffering harm. many are experiencing such discomfort it's causing eyestrain, migraines, headaches, motion sickness etc - which are things you would expect just by Playing the game but, no it's explicitly due to screen

comics + animations have simpler costumes for ease of animating but also as a stylistic choice. bright colours and simple shapes are characteristics of the environment. since the mcu is set in real life, the costume is designed to be more in tune with its environment

i also say this as an ND person who suffers from certain light/noise sensitivity -- i love splatoon. played since 2017. yes visuals + sound can be overwhelming at times but i have always had my own adjustments to engage. never have i experienced Literal Harm until screen
