Keep politics and propaganda out of games. Instead of forcing diversity and inclusivity, we can focus on universal themes that everyone can appreciate—like love, friendship, acceptance, forgiveness, family, hope, and sincerity. If you want to make a game with a radical agenda, create your own. Stop 'ruining' beloved IPs. Astro Bot and Nintendo games succeed because they prioritize pure fun and comfort without pushing any agenda. Put things in games that players actually enjoy. At some point, games stopped being games and became a vehicle for messaging. It's time to give games back to the gamers.

@Grummz It is sad that they blame everything on the UI or dismiss criticism by saying, 'Some people just like Era Changes.' In a franchise series, there are crucial elements that should never be altered, and in Civ 7, those elements have been sacrificed in the name of gameplay.

There has been a long-standing joke in Korea that a Japan-set Assassin’s Creed would only be released when Ubisoft was on the verge of collapsing. And ironically, now that Ubisoft is truly on the brink of failure, it's actually happening. Even in the final moments of the company's downfall, they continue to insert their radical agenda into their games, stirring up controversy. Of all things, they chose to make the protagonists of a Japanese assassin game a woman and a Black man. At least in Korea, there are very few people rooting for the success of AC: Shadows. People are truly exhausted by agendas being pushed into games.

The problem with Civ7 is that it features a design focused solely on gameplay for gameplay’s sake. Some people argue that gameplay is everything and nothing else matters, but that is simply not true. There’s a significant element of “intuitive romance” in why people play video games. If I can’t finish a game with the civilization I’ve chosen, then why should I play that civilization? And that is precisely the main reason people engage with strategy games.

KCD2 is a truly great game and deserves praise. At the same time, it leaves a somewhat bitter aftertaste as it illustrates how Western AAA games, pressured by big capital, can never truly be free from DEI insertion. That said, most gamers would be completely fine with this level of enforced DEI allocation. Henry and Hans’s romance is not canon in the main story and can be ignored. However, when such elements become preachy or shape the overall atmosphere of a game, problems arise. The Veilguard was a significant example of this.

@wasphyxiation Yes, the problem with Civ 7 is that it includes systems that exist solely for gameplay mechanics, without considering role-playing aspects or immersion. This is bad design and one of the worst mistakes modern developers often make.

@tyminski_marek Reddit says it hates fascists, but then enforces rules that are more fascist than anyone else's. 'If you don't listen to me, you're bad!' That's what we call a Nazi.

@DanielVavra David Jaffe? The guy who called himself 100% woke while criticizing others? Looks like you've woken up too

@DanielVavra People who argue that OpenCritic is better almost always do so because it gives higher scores than Metacritic. I've rarely seen any other reason. Lol

@Pirat_Nation They pandered to DEI, and if DEI followers had bought the game enough, it wouldn’t have failed lol

@MarioNawfal We all learn about XX and XY chromosomes in school. Because the country that denies it is the most powerful country in the world, it has literally destroyed all media and cultural industries, and we are grateful for normalization.

@DonaldJTrumpJr @worldlibertyfi Even $TRUMP can't beat an automated trading bot algorithm based on $BTC price movements. As soon as $BTC plummeted on the 1-hour chart, $TRUMP crashed to half its price. Protect traders by buying $BTC.
