I'm 24. For most of my life, I chased expectations instead of dreams: → Applying to university that my family wants → Trying to live up to my family’s hopes → Aiming to be someone I wasn’t But every time, I failed. When I got accepted to study Chemical Engineering, I thought maybe this was my path. But after graduation, a month in a factory made me realize it wasn’t. ━━━━━━━━━ ✧ ━━━━━━━━━ I was stuck in a lab, testing chemicals, wondering if I’d feel trapped forever. That’s when I made my choice. I quit, barely a month in. No safety net, no backup. I bet everything on studying digital marketing. It was 2021—covid lockdowns, uncertainty, and the fear I’d thrown away years of study. ━━━━━━━━━ ✧ ━━━━━━━━━ But I saw a new path: a career with flexibility to work remotely, spend time with family, and build something meaningful. This became my mission: → Work with freedom → Spend more time with loved ones → Create a life on my terms for myself So, I borrowed money to take a full-stack digital marketing course—a huge leap of faith. But I knew, this was my future. ━━━━━━━━━ ✧ ━━━━━━━━━ The first year was filled with doubts. No guaranteed job, everything new, and times when I felt stuck. But I kept going, repeating my mantra: “I bet everything on this. I can’t quit now.” Through struggle, I learned resilience, even as the path seemed dark. ━━━━━━━━━ ✧ ━━━━━━━━━ Then, things began to click. I found work with an incredible mentor who showed me what was possible. He ran a successful agency, traveled the world, and made time for life. With new energy, I dove into digital marketing. I helped clients (most through my agency job) build their brands, and I even got results I didn’t believe were possible. ━━━━━━━━━ ✧ ━━━━━━━━━ One client saw a 42.8x return on ad spend. They spent IDR9,287,949 and got a massive return of IDR397,635,915. I was just as shocked as they were. It felt surreal, but it showed me what’s truly possible when strategy, timing, and targeting align. Results like this are out there. ━━━━━━━━━ ✧ ━━━━━━━━━ With more clients, I quickly realized how much I needed a system. Juggling campaigns, results, client tasks—it all needed to be streamlined. That’s when I found Notion. And the more I used it, the more I saw its potential. ━━━━━━━━━ ✧ ━━━━━━━━━ And as I grew, so did my passion for Notion. I realized how powerful it is for digital marketing. Not just for marketers but for business owners, creators, anyone growing online. Now, I’m building Notion templates and tools to make digital marketing simpler. Tracking campaigns, organizing client work, planning content—Notion does it all. It’s now a core part of my process.
