On the rare occasions that I watch myself on film, I am struck by how my now grown daughters resemble me. I will catch a glimpse of, a tone of voice of, one of them in the screen me and am filled with awe for nature. And I am less critical of myself because of how I love them.

My mom and I watched “Snowed-Inn Christmas” on Lifetime today. It was absolutely lovely and we enjoyed it very much. There was also knitting, tea, lunch, and happiness being together after my months in Vancouver.

I’ll never forget this day last year. I was in the backyard watering my little potato crop. @MJMcKean came out the back door and over to me. He was so upset that I thought someone in the family had died. I was right; it was the news that Alex Trebek had died. We both wept.

On my walk. A darling two year old boy sitting in his stroller waved and said, “Good morning!” I smiled and said “good morning!” and realized I was wearing a mask, sunglasses, and hat. He couldn’t see my face at all. He was just being an Emissary of Love. He made my day.

Yesterday on #virginriver, we shot at a location that was used for “It.” I didn’t even realize it until Nicola Cavendish (Connie), who had played the hotel reception desk clerk back then, reminded me. Then It all came rushing back. Very happy memories.
