she has a diamond in her back too, it's small, but you can see more diamond details on her arm ties and in her chest. jade and aven don't have those either. she has the most similar apparence to the ipc grunts too
this is why she reminds me sm of a soldier of sorts :)

the stonehearts are not a found family, they are more like executive coworkers who tolerate each other (topaz has a line directly saying she doesnt get along with them). the lower ranks dont even know Diamond since he seems to only have contact with Jade so far.

offtopic but i think these two are my new favorite duo of characters just for that last scene alone 😅 i like their contrast especially how she is themed with rain and aven hates rain bc of his past. makes the perfect sense for them to be the faces of this patch

she can also be inspired in carmilla, which is the first female vampire in literature, created the lesbian vampire trope, and directly inspired Dracula. in any case i'm super happy we got a gothic themed character

ofc the character that canonically knows psychology would have a very sweet conversation with a character that would fit perfectly as one of his patients, im very happy that we got this interaction since i knew they would be perfect as friends

i like the fact that they are lonely for diffent reasons. they don't share the same experiences so they wont be able to understand what the other is feeling completely but they can still be sympathetic to each other and their loneliness. i think this what made them bond actually

im so glad this ship is getting more recognition now, i always noticed their contrast! at first, i started shipping them bc of their color pallete, but then i started noticing the difference in their personality and how similar they are in certain aspects :') i love them
