@AttyAbdul because jail fucking sucks abd most jails are hellholes and taking a time-served plea to get out is worth the scarlet F to them

@THE_REAL_TIM_K @CalltoActivism If not military then why are coast guardsmen subject to the UCMJ?

@HermitYab @mattparlmer It means “conflict alert” Helicopter pilot took responsibility for visual separation.

@VikingFBR @BillAckman Helicopter was probably off course as well as too high. They’re supposed to hug the bank, which would provide lateral sep on a circling approach and at least 500’ on a straight-in.

@dpm327 @HighlightHendo Nah the airliner was on a visual circle to land approach I think the airliner got blindsided, though.

@VikingFBR @BillAckman Ceiling on that helicopter route is 200’ which should keep the traffic separated Help was high and a bit off course—was supposed to be hugging the far bank of the Potomac until clear of the runway 33 approach and no higher than 200’ altitude.

@Angelica_Reed1 @kenklippenstein @miakhalifa Most airports have no ATC, even some with commercial service. But SQL is near some of the most complex controlled airspace in the world, so this will be problematic. SFO is less than ten miles to the north.

@JordanUhl @kenklippenstein so many student pilots and other newbs are going to bust the Bravo that they will get fined out of aviation

@NotoriousVij @MatthewCappucci Winds were strong and gusty, may not have been able to land on 1 because of excessive crosswind.

@CatsRule2023 @robert44501 @TrumpDailyPosts “Traffic” but then what? Below 1000 feet there’s no RA. Ultimately it’s still see and avoid. What is likely is the airliner didn’t see and helicopter didn’t avoid.

@CatsRule2023 @TrumpDailyPosts Resolution advisories don’t operate below 1000’. TCAS will still warn but an airliner on final has limited options to evade in this case.

@energybants Grand Coulee Dam peak capacity is just shy of 7. They need 4 Grand Coulee Dams worth of electricity. Just absolutely bonkers.

@uncle_deluge Prep increases speed for some people, neutralizing the exam’s time pressure. Which is the only reason it’s difficult. But if your brain lacks, yes, it’s hopeless

@trequor_ @smalltown_wife prep can neutralize time pressure but if your brain just lacks, well, it ain’t gonna help a lick

@tiredMD1 @PumaNkrumah @transplnt_mdphd @mornings0da @memefrogdog they wouldn’t be hard without the time pressure that’s about the only thing that makes the LSAT difficult and makes it amenable to boosting scores with massive prep

@mornings0da i found this one harder than the fish one or the B-/attendance one…supposedly this is the easiest of the three though i mean i still got it right but it took a lot more time than i would like to spend on an actual test
