Indian Migrants Return Shackled and Dehumanised as Modi Regime Prioritizes Racist Trump over Human Dignity February 07, 2025 | New Delhi: CPI(ML) vehemently condemns the dehumanising and violent treatment of Indian migrants subjected to deportation by the Trump administration in the United States. The harrowing and heart-wrenching accounts of our fellow citizens—shackled, chained, and handcuffed during a soul-crushing 40-hour journey—serve as a chilling reminder of the colonial-era subjugation. This grotesque spectacle, where migrants are treated as criminals—stripped of their dignity, bound like captives, and subjected to conditions that mirror the horrors of colonial-era transportation—lays bare the deeply racist and inhumane nature of the Trump regime’s immigration agenda. Equally unforgivable is the deafening silence of the Modi-led BJP government, which has failed to raise even a semblance of protest against this blatant abuse of Indian citizens. The Modi government’s deafening silence in the face of this abuse is not mere negligence—it is complicity. While the BJP peddles jingoistic rhetoric about “nationalism” and “protecting Indian pride,” it abandons Indian migrants to the mercy of racist deportation regimes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brazen embrace of Donald Trump—whom he calls a “dear friend” and for whom he openly campaigned during U.S. elections—now stands exposed as a betrayal of India’s migrant workers. Trump, in turn, repays this sycophancy by vilifying Indian migrants and deporting them in chains. This shameful reciprocity lays bare the BJP regime’s servility to the U.S. imperialist interests, mirroring the historical capitulation of the Sangh Parivar to British colonial rulers. Just as the RSS’s ideological ancestors bowed to colonial rulers, today’s Sangh Parivar kneels before the U.S. empire, trading the dignity of Indian migrants for hollow photo-ops and empty slogans of ‘nationalism.’" We demand the Indian government to reject the inhuman treatment of Indian migrants and take immediate action to ensure their dignified return. The government must deploy necessary logistical support to facilitate the safe and respectful return of all Indian migrant workers facing deportation. AISA (@AISA_tweets) Statement: 'Peace' & 'Normalcy' in J&K under Modi Raj: The Great Lie of the BJP! End human rights violations and millitarisation in Kashmir! On 4th January 2025 over 500 people were detained overnight across Kashmir without any proof or warrant but on mere "suspicion". This action came after the announcement of ay “Security Review” meeting led by the Home Minister Amit Shah specifically on the situation in Kashmir, the same Amit Shah who is continuously given to chest thumping proclamations of normalcy and development in J&K. J&K continues to be one of the world’s most militarized zones, and despite all proclamations of 'normalcy', we hear news of further deployment of troops in the region. Post the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, there has been an unprecedented crackdown on the democratic rights of the people of Kashmir, with activists jailed without trial, press freedom curbed and journalists imprisoned and censored, all in the name of 'national security'. Until recently there was no elected representation for the people of J&K in the state’s own assembly. Despite the massive militarization which is often used as an excuse for the rampant violation of human rights, the BJP ruled central government is unable to prevent terrorist attacks in the region. The BJP finds itself in a paradox where on one hand it has left no stage or platform where it has not proclaimed its success in integrating Jammu & Kashmir and solving the issue once and for all and on the other hand, far from demilitarization of the region, it has failed to prevent repeated terror attacks in the region. Middle of the night operations by the SOG leading to illegal large scale arrest of civilians is nothing new to the people of Kashmir. And every arrest is justified, as it has been justified this time by police officials, as necessary for reasons of national security and to curb terrorist activities in Kashmir. We ask the J&K Police and the central government how the mass arrest of common civilians on the basis of mere suspicion ensures security in Kashmir and the country? And, if the arrested 500 individuals are indeed a threat to Kashmir's security, then this exposes a serious lapse on the part of J&K Police and armed security forces in ensuring safety to the people. It exposes all lies of development and peace in the valley post the abrogation of Article 370. Lies which were crafted for explicit political gains of the BJP and implemented through the brute force of military boots at the cost of civil liberties and the democratic rights of the people of J&K. We reiterate once again that to the political problem of J&K there can be no military solution. The democratic aspirations of the people of Kashmir must be taken into account, and only then can there be a lasting solution to the Kashmir issue. भाकपा माले के पूर्व झारखण्ड राज्य कार्यालय सचिव साथी बिनोद लहरी का आज रात 1.50 मिनट पर रिम्स, रांची में डाक्टरों के अनुसार डिसइलेक्ट्रोलाइटीमिया से मौत हो गई. वे 56 वर्ष के थे और किडनी, सुगर एवं उक्त रक्तचाप से लंबे अर्से से पीड़ित थे. उनकी मृत्यु पूरी पार्टी के लिए गहरा आघात है. लाल सलाम कामरेड विनोद लहरी !

महाकुंभ में भगदड़ से मौतों की जिम्मेदारी यूपी सरकार की: घटना बेहद दुखद. प्रयागराज महाकुंभ में यूपी सरकार की कुव्यवस्था के कारण मौनी अमावस्या के दिन हुई भगदड़ में कई श्रद्धालुओं की मौत से आम जन शोकाकुल है। मृतकों के परिजनों के प्रति संवेदना प्रकट करते हैं और इस दुखद घटना के लिए पूरी तरह से मोदी – योगी सरकार को जिम्मेदार मानते हैं। बड़ी संख्या में हुई जनहानि के बावजूद प्रशासन ने अभी तक सही जानकारी नहीं दी है। मोदी-योगी सरकार का ध्यान महाकुंभ के आयोजन का श्रेय ले��े पर अधिक और श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षा व सुविधाओं पर कम रहा है। सरकार राजनीतिक लाभ के फेर में तीर्थयात्रियों की जान से खिलवाड़ कर रही है। पूरा सरकारी अमला वीआईपी प्रबंधन में लगा हुआ है, जबकि आम श्रद्धालुओं की परेशानियों की किसी को परवाह नहीं है। सरकार तीर्थयात्रियों की सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी ले और मृतकों व घायलों की सही जानकारी उपलब्ध कराए। भाकपा-माले मांग करती है कि घायलों का समुचित इलाज कराया जाए, भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए ठोस कदम उठाए जाएं, दोषियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाए और मृतकों के परिजनों को उचित मुआवजा दिया जाए।
