Saddened to hear that John Clayton died today. He was always great to me, always appreciated how he carved out time for us every day during his really busy schedule. My condolences to Pat. It would be hard to find a husband who loved his wife more than John.

Last Thursday I was fired by KJR-FM. I pulled over on a dirt road between Redmond and Madras, Ore., with my dogs in the back seat to get the news that ‘my position had been eliminated.’. Turns out I was part of a nationwide cutback of iHeart employees….

Well, my little girl is going to have her own little girl in September. Thrilled for @Brooke__Moore and my Coug son-in-law Christian Reinke and their golden retriever Martin, who is going to get a sister. Which means I’ll be a grandpa soon. Heard it’s fun. Can’t wait. #GoCougs

Wife asks me to not leave dishes/glasses in sink & to put them in dishwasher. Today when seeing me put bowl on top rack, she asked me to put it in bottom rack to leave room for glasses. I swear if I’d put that bowl in the bottom rack, she would’ve asked me to put it on top rack.

Cool to see Hideki Matsuyama win The Masters. When Jim Nantz talks to him, his interpreter is Bob Turner, who is Allen Turner’s dad. Allen is Ichiro’s interpreter and Jonah’s dad. Jonah played baseball with my kids on the Bellevue Dragons. That’s my small world Tweet. #GoCougs.

…And company president Mark Glynn has been terrific to me too. Mark and Rich allowed me to work remotely from Bend, where my wife and I plan to retire full-time. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work at KJR-FM and specifically with Puck and Chris Kidd….
