It's becoming clear that @Salt_Project_OS has been abandoned by @Broadcom following their acquisition of @VMware. The ideal outcome would be for another organization that heavily uses #SaltStack to take over the project, or at least fork it. @Cloudflare? @LinkedIn? @digitalocean? Anyone else? 2022: 2023:

@SawyerMerritt If eliminating oil & gas subsidies risks increasing the price at the pump by even $0.01 it will be immediately axed by Trump. There is almost zero chance Elon will succeed in getting rid of oil & gas subsidies.

@larsmoravy @edmunds But can the fans be turned on and off independently in the new models ? This bothers my wife to no end in my 2019 Model 3. I want the A/C blowing, and she usually wants no air moving at all as she says it dries out her eyes.

So, @elonmusk, will the Department of Government Efficiency start by killing the $6 trillion per year of subsidies the oil & gas industry receives? If the EV tax credits are going away the oil & gas subsidies should as well. What's fair is fair.
@ruthbenghiat Why are you perpetuating propaganda concocted by the oil & gas industry to distract you from the 6 trillion dollars per *year* of subsidies those companies receive?

It's such a shame what has been happening with the SaltStack project over the last few years. The decline began when the original SaltStack Inc was sold to VMware, and then accelerated when Broadcom bought VMware. The "Long Term Support" version is supported for... 18 months. It feels like these changes are a subtly way for Broadcom to push people away from software they don't want to continue maintaining. #SaltStack
