My favorite PC games! Turn of the century was a golden period for first person shooters. Unreal is my favorite.

Avengers Endgame!! It was the greatest experience sitting in that theater and listening to the crowd cheer especially on the last battle. One of the highlights of my life!

I cannot overstate this enough.
When you say you are going to do something.
DO IT!!
It's not just others that will develop distrust it is your body that will not trust your mind and result in frequent dopamine hit and no action.
And if you really cant do it anymore.
Who needs a little push to finish their project?
Here it is:
If you don't finish what you started someone else will.
Even if it doesn't take off the work completed is the stepping stone to the next big project.
Keep going and you will make it!

Unpopular opinion. OOP/SOLID is not only for me to write clean maintainable code but for the next person working on the code. OOP/SOLID is a selfless act of kindness towards others.
Final subscribed to GitHub Copilot. 🚀 It is like having a startup partner. I like where one can reference files in the project and it creates on top of that code. Your thoughts on Copilot? Any tips and tricks to note?

Agile works, but requirements should still be waterfall. There needs to be a vision and upfront planning like a roadmap. The details are discovered during the iterations. Just more efficient.
After some time in engineering I'm not convinced that neither monolithic or micro services architecture are the single answer. It has to be a hybrid. Thoughts?
Ah, software engineering, the field where logic meets chaos in a beautiful, bug-filled dance. Here's what's funny about it:
The Infinite Loop of Learning: You spend years learning languages, frameworks, and tools, only to find out that by the time you're an expert, there's a new
I just saw an advertisement for a no-code solution:
"If your business needs a new application you need a lot of developers and they have to write a lot of code." True
BUT
No no-code or low-code solution just give you all the functionaltiy you need. No-code need peripheral
It is important during interviews to clearly distinguish what YOU have done and what you have done as a team... the WE. If you say we did this and we did that I still dont know what you've done and if you have the skills and experience required. We are taught to be teamplayers
Is your current job killing your passion for tech?
All you need is a laptop, internet and YOU! Build your own application with any tech you have the choice to decide.
See your energy change and feel the passion grow back.
In my experience, the best learning happens when you building your own projects.
It ALWAYS pays off in the end in someway or form.
It take time but that is the fun part!
Keep your head down and focus 🚀
Best advice I can give to fresh Software Engineers is to build systems in your personal time. Nothing beats the self-discipline and struggles that come with that. No salary/praise to motivate you. Finish what you start and you WILL upskill.

What methodology do you use to estimate software product or feature development? What leading questions do you ask to determine the complexity of the task at hand?

This is why I love what we do. Along comes a new technology that totally blows your mind and truly solves the problem I had.
