@AaronQuinn716 @NateGearySports I thought Gilmore was playing at a Pro Bowl level in 2015 (Rex's first season) before he got hurt after 12 games. He struggled early in 2016 (remember Fitzmagic picking on him and Darby in the Color Rush home game?) but rebounded nicely and actually made the Pro Bowl.

@TheBillsGuys @SportsRoc2 He did not have to be Superman. We had a touchdown drive vs KC where he threw one pass, and had one scramble for a first down (+ 1 successful sneak.) Cook ended the drive with a Superman-like TD.

@NFL_Journal Sharpe was listed at 6 foot (and is almost 60 y/o.) Gates looks to be closer in height to Sharpe than Allen. Different sport, but when I see Shaq and Yao Ming together, I'm convinced Yao is still growing.

@YardsPerPass I'm used the Chiefs being down 10 points in the Super Bowl. It's happened in all 3 of their wins. Being down 17? Hmmmm

@DerekLFosterr @jFudgy_ @JonHeyman 1999 called. They want their insults back. Now choke on this mute, Slappy.

@scottrossonline @JonHeyman I don't care about the three seconds. I care about having better vision when I leave. Odds of hitting a pedestrian when backing in are miniscule. They'll see me, and even if they're distracted, I'll see them. Backing out, different story.

@epinindy @jFudgy_ @JonHeyman What's a camera going to help with when a car zips around the corner right into your path as you're backing up?

@DerekLFosterr @jFudgy_ @JonHeyman It may or may not save time. It lessens the probability of getting into an accident.

@ZachTesar @jFudgy_ @JonHeyman There's a big damn difference. When I back in, I can easily see pedestrians, or cars driving up to me, and most importantly, they can see me. If I have to back out, it's tougher to see, and a car might peel around the corner into my path or someone might walk right behind my car

@Profhofcantonf @ronNcaphill @uptonbell Never been to a ceremony, so I just have to go by what's on paper. 2020 and 2021 have to be thrown out the window, obviously (multiple ceremonies in 2021.)

@Profhofcantonf @ronNcaphill @uptonbell Tough to say. That's a major knock on the voters, as at least two of them said on here in the last year that there were no changes regarding modern voting.

@Profhofcantonf @ronNcaphill @uptonbell Getting outside my point. I'm not thrilled with a small class, but calling for Porter to be fired, and suggesting this was a breach of the fiduciary responsibility is out of bounds.

@Profhofcantonf @ronNcaphill @uptonbell Looks like HOF Week turned a small profit ($100K) last year, but it actually lost money the prior two years. Of course, no way to tell whether these were all direct expenses, or indirect expenses allocated to the HOF week.

@Profhofcantonf @ronNcaphill @uptonbell If they had inducted Gates, Suggs, Yanda, J. Allen, Sharpe and Hay, they would still only have four fanbases. (Suggs and Yanda both =Baltimore, and Canton Bulldogs have no fanbase.)

@Profhofcantonf @ronNcaphill @uptonbell Yes, it's the largest single source of revenue. The last few years it has been around $6-$6.5 million. But even that declined from some pre-pandemic years. The HOF has already maintained a decline in revenue.

@Profhofcantonf @ronNcaphill @uptonbell They could argue that keeping the HOF enshrinement exclusive (as it was in the past) is very much in their mission. The financial information available does not suggest that they are at risk of failing. They are similar to the NFL, in that fans may complain, but not stay away.
