I am a product of adoption. My biological mom was a 19-year-old with no money or support while she was pregnant with me. While abortion was certainly presented to her as the “best option”, she decided to give me a chance. Today, I think of all who didn’t get that chance.

@DTBrookeLinn @JamesLaverty45 No, but the entirety of the US govt has been for 25 years. There is just new sherrifs in town now. However, I believe the standard that burner shit posting shouldn’t be taken seriously. It’s part of it, no matter who it’s directed towards.

I met my wife in political science class at the U. of Wisconsin. For our first date, I took her to dinner and then Gov. Tommy Thompson's birthday party (I was a tax policy intern). That was surely my coolest first date (and ultimately most successful, 28 years later).

@PotestasEst @emperoreaganite Trump and Reagan were close in real life and Trump has often mentioned Reagan as an inspiration. Most Reagan voters from then are now MAGA, a natural path for people that actually voted for Reagan. They will always be spiritual brothers.
