𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟎: Our teams continue to address outages related to Hurricane Helene. While we're still working on a handful of locations in rural areas of our Rock Hill territory, almost all of our customers in York and Lancaster counties have had their services restored. This has freed up more of our crews to travel to Chesnee and Brevard to assist our locally-based employees in those areas. In addition to manpower, we're also sending vehicles and materials to these areas to make the repair process more efficient. Our goal is to restore service to our customers as quickly as possible once the power comes back on. The electric providers continue to make good progress in their work, and we're tracking them to make sure we start our repairs as soon as possible. In Midlands, we're also waiting for power restoration in some areas but are closely following that progress so we can get customers back online quickly. We appreciate your continued patience as we work diligently to restore service to all of our customers who were affected by the storm.

𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟗: Chesnee outages continue to be addressed, with approximately 84% of cable modems online and approximately 92% of voice lines working. In this photo from yesterday, crews are shown working in the Parris Bridge Road area. In Midlands, teams are continuing to make progress as power is restored, focusing on the town of Ridge Spring today.

𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟖: We continue to make progress in restoring services for customers in Brevard. Approximately 83% of residential customers are online and voice services are restored to upwards of 95% of customers. Teams from Rock Hill are onsite in Transylvania County to assist our Brevard-based crews. We appreciate your continued patience as we follow behind commercial power providers to assess our equipment once electricity is restored. If your router and devices do not automatically reconnect after the power comes back on, please restart your router by unplugging it, waiting 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. It may take several minutes for the router to fully reboot. For step-by-step instructions for rebooting your equipment, visit

𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟕: Our crews in the field continue to work around the clock to address outages related to Hurricane Helene in North Carolina and South Carolina. In Transylvania County, while many areas are still affected by power loss, we're continuing to chip away at our outages. In the last 24 hours alone, we were able to restore services to approximately 1000 customers. As power continues to be restored, we're dispatching crews to work on reconnecting homes and businesses to our services. In Chesnee, power outages are also a concern. Our crews continue to track power restoration efforts so that we can follow behind to assess the condition of our lines and equipment. Employees from Rock Hill are joining forces with our Chesnee teams today to expedite the restoration of services to the area. In Midlands, two of our remotes are still on generator power. Those are monitored 24/7 by our employees to keep them up and running. Ridge Spring has numerous power outages that are impacting customers' ability to access our services. We are working diligently to bring customers back online as soon as we are cleared to do so by the electric companies, DOT, and local emergency officials.

𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟒: As we mark the end of the first week after Hurricane Helene, we'd like to thank our employees for their tireless efforts as the Carolinas recover from the storm. We appreciate the kind words many of our customers have shared and we assure you that we'll continue working until everyone has services restored. Our Brevard workgroup dealt with additional challenges. We live in the communities we serve, and our employees in Transylvania County faced the fury of the storm as it tore through Western North Carolina. To ensure that critical needs were met in the immediate aftermath of Helene, our Supply Chain group made two deliveries of water, non-perishable food, and other supplies from Rock Hill to our Brevard office. Providing these essential items to our employees was a way to show support and solidarity. It also eliminated one worry so they could focus on the task at hand: reconnecting our customers to friends, family, and the world.

𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟒: As of yesterday, all of Midlands remotes had power restored or were running on generators. Please understand that while your power may be on at your residence or business, there could still be issues that need to be resolved due to downed trees on our lines or other damage. We appreciate your patience as we work through these repairs. As services are restored, your router and devices may automatically reconnect. If they do not, please restart your router by unplugging it, waiting 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. It may take several minutes for the router to fully reboot.
