I designed a cage specifically to be open enough to clean while keeping it on, I still recommend taking it off for a deep clean regularly, but heard from buyers having it on for a month at a time with no serious issues.

If it's open enough, you can clean under the foreskin by moving it around while having the cage on, this just takes longer than it would if you took it off to clean.

For sizing, it should be slightly longer than your flaccid length so everything can sit comfortably without compressing.

For a temporary solution that does something similar, I recommend putting a piece of tape over the front so your foreskin doesn't poke out and get pinched.
