Starting to solidify the TOC for Issue Three. Extraordinarily hard this go-round. Cold Signal Issues are large by design but this is looking packed. Acceptances and rejections will go out by the end of the month, aiming for the 15th (to make it two months from the window closing)

Also, I'll go into this with more detail later, but I'm planning that after Issue Three's release, CS will go into novelette submission window mode for the first half of the year, with an Issue Four in the back half! I think it'll be a blast

Making Cold Signal is one of the treasures of my life, and I am so thankful for every single writer and reader who I’ve gotten the chance to know through its creation. Deep in the submission reading mines for Issue Three and excited as hell 😈

Also fyi the other site will be the primary channel for CS news moving forward, but I’ll plan to keep this up for the time being to make sure people can see updates!

I'm really fucking excited for Issue Three, and for whatever strip of consciousness road I get to ride, trying to get the good shit in front of readers looking for something raw and wild that bites off a bleeding chunk of God's great looming face and holds it up to the light.

Making this about me, @coldsignalmag is one of the first online publications where I felt like the idiosyncrasies of my work required no apologizing for and were in fact quite at home. John threads the needle through a really cool, elusive sensibility that deserves more community
