Congratulations to our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students who, between them all, read an astonishing 434,119,138 words as part of our Accelerated Reader Programme.

As a reward for their performance at the recent Wrapparound poetry event, five of our 1st year students had the great honour of reading their own poems at the International Literature Festival Dublin, in Merrion Square in Dublin yesterday. @jcsplibraries @ccmwicklow

Niall de Burca, was the guest of honour at our annual JCSP Summer Celebrations held in the library. As usual, Niall held the students spellbound with his hilarious and tall tales. Niall then kindly presented the students with awards for their work. @jcsplibraries @ccmwicklow

We were delighted to host, Dave Rudden, author of the best selling fantasy novel, 'Knights of the Borrowed Dark', in our school library today. Dave facilitated a number of creative writing workshops with some of our 1st and 2nd year classes. @jcsplibraries @ccmwicklow
