I've been spending a lot of time using @cursor_ai + Claude 3.5 in the past 2 months and after speaking to some of the smartest engineers I know - they are in disbelief that prompt engineering is working today... I've spent enough time to know that it IS there and you can develop real complex apps with it. Even in programming languages you are not an expert in (in my case, typescript). I have not coded much in the last 2 years, but I have 20 years of near-full time programming experience - albeit being rusty today - I plan to live code the cloning of an app starting with @cannyHQ (my favorite public roadmap tool)! I will time cap it at two hours and attempt to replicate as much functionality as possible to work in the cloud (not just locally on my machine) and publish the code publicly afterwards. I am just learning there was no communication. Not sure why the dev team wouldn't continue to leverage our beautiful community with the web2 launch imminent! I'm close to sending an update. Re: me off x/twitter. The Earn/LR situation was small compared to my personal endeavours. Glad to be back now.

I'm thinking of streaming how fast I can clone a website in 2 hours with #AI. I'll go as far as I can go, full stack style, from scratch. Would anyone watch or would I be alone? Obvi using @cursor_ai

What's so cool about @cursor_ai is the rate they are shipping at likely due to leveraging cursor itself. Its the first product where I have looked forward to the "release notes" every few weeks, because there is actual meat and often surprises of (a) new features I never imagined or (b) solving nuances that I was slightly annoyed at.
