Over 75% of our roster next yr has played JUCO ball. JUCO guys just a different breed. Our entire roster has cracks on their shoulder. We are made up of guys, under recruited, under valued. That’s ok though. We still going to beat these “higher level” schools.

Was told I needed to play 4 years of college basketball to coach college ball. Was told I wasn’t going to be youngest hs and college coach in the country when I entered the game. I’m going to keep working for the few who always believed in me.
My sister laughed at me for coaching what she called “little league” (AAU) and my parents scolded me and tried to have other mentors tell me that I couldn’t earn a living off of sports...

Hurting for my guys knowing our season is over. I wholeheartedly believe we should be a national tournament team but that’s how it goes sometimes. DMGB. I am grateful for the fact we played 33 games this season in the midst of a pandemic the most of anyone at our level.

This classic is named after my dad who lost his battle to cancer in 2015.
