FAMU MBB has already surpassed last year’s win total and won as many conference games — with 11 more to go under first year coach Patrick Crarey. The FAMU BOT members said he wasn’t a top five candidate and questioned a $150k salary — only giving him a one-year deal.

No surprise to me @NSUCoachJones has been doing this for years. Can’t understand why a HM won’t take a shot on him? If he’s getting it done with limited resources what will he do with damn near unlimited resources!!!!!!!
Norfolk State just went into High Point and beat a really good Panthers team to secure a non-conference record over .500. Make that five consecutive seasons with that strong of a non-conference slate. Unheard of in HBCU basketball. Robert Jones can coach some basketball.
