Coach the best player at all times.
Coach details.
Coach pace.
Coach footwork.
Coach if this, then that.
Teach awareness.
Teach reads.
Teach discipline.
Teach them how to play w/o the ball in their hands.
Teach the value of conditioning.

It’s interesting to observe Top 20 WBB teams with multiple transfers struggling early vs teams who have been put together for a while.
The portal is what it is. A lot of great players enter it & a lot of good teams benefit from it. However, it still takes time to develop a TEAM.
