We finished last in pool play yesterday. Didn’t stop Leah & her teammates. Gutsy effort all day. Fought through pain, a short bench, and a lack of size to control all 3 games - getting revenge on the teams who beat us yesterday. So proud of you Leah! You earned it! Great Team W!!
Need to take a moment as a parent & (coach) to boast. Toughness is a word thrown out all the time by people. It comes in a lot of ways and fashions. Leah, after turning her ankle in the first of 6 games, wasn’t near 100%. She left everything she had on the court.
