@Coach_DeMarco A5: Meet with players to define team defense standards & hold them accountable to that. If they don’t guard, they can live w results (less PT, losing). Coach can’t stop ball & rebound. Must be mutual. Give the ones who buy in all the coaching & teaching they need. #GetBBChat

@Coach_DeMarco A3: 1) transition from half, 4v3, stop ball, guard hoop, find most dangerous guy. 2) Kobe drill: guard ball to half, repeat 4 times per defender 3) Thibodeau drill: block & elbows, four balls, start w closeout & pivots, build to drives, help side, PNR & locking DHOs. #GBetBBChat

@JohnCarrier42 Fair enough. If you do it for fun, friends, love of game - it’s great. If you do it because you think that it leads to postsecondary success, you may be disappointed. I think we are of the same mind that details leads to success. A little frustrated with hucksters right now.
