No one ever paid a house off in 2 years from the average wage in my lifespan and I'm retiring. It's been a lifetime commitment at avge wage since the 60s. My parents sacrificed everything to do it for me, dad went to America once, only ever os trip, no annual Bali trips surfing. I've sacrificed for my kids. I've been fortunate my parents sacrificed for me and I've levelled up and the bounty for my kids is 10 fold. That said I totally agree youngsters have it nearly impossible to get a house now..we need a reset of tax, income, politicians and gov waste and need to go back to family and society based cohesive values. Aussies for Aussies and Aussies first. Make it so Aussies want to have kids again..
