#CMMI participated at the 2nd CSN Cyprus Shipping Debate - “Bridging the Energy Gap”, that took place last week in Limassol where our scientists had the opportunity to engage into some insightful #discussions with stakeholders on the challenges and opportunities facing the #maritime sector. The focus of the debate was around the readiness of alternative fuels and #technologies to meet strict and expanding regulations, whereas the crucial need for crew #training and #upskilling to ensure safety and competence in operating advanced systems was also emphasized. CMMI was praised for its efforts in showcasing through its #research the maritime sector's #advancements to address these challenges, and was also mentioned how the industry, through projects CMMI is part of, such as ‘Green Marine’, is making significant strides towards a more #sustainable future.
