✅✅✅ NEUROPLASTICITY TRAiNiNG 101 WElCOME TO THE CM7 SPARQ FAMILY AND EXPERIENCE AYDEN WILLIAMS @Aydengw_ @miltonfootball_ @futuremiltoneagles ✅✅✅ Ayden is an ATH(Athlete). Ayden’s positions are Receiver, Defensive Back, Running Back and Kick Returner. ✅✅✅ Neuroplasticity training for athletes is a vital approach to improving performance by enhancing the brain’s ability to adapt, learn new skills, and fine-tune motor functions. This training taps into the brain’s natural ability to rewire itself through repeated practice, cognitive challenges, and physical activity, leading to improved reaction time, coordination, and overall athletic performance. It focuses on strengthening neural connections that influence movement control, mental resilience, and decision-making under pressure. 🎯Incorporating neuroplasticity training into an athlete’s routine helps them adapt to the demands of their sport and optimize their development. Training sessions typically include a combination of physical exercises, mental drills, and tasks that encourage the brain to form new pathways, ensuring that motor functions become more efficient and precise. Key Aspects of Neuroplasticity Training for Athletes: •Specificity: This involves designing exercises that are tailored to the athlete’s sport, targeting the precise movements and skills required for peak performance. By making drills relevant to the demands of the sport, athletes can directly apply the benefits to their game. •Repetition: Neuroplasticity thrives on repetition. By repeating movements consistently, athletes strengthen the neural connections responsible for motor control. This enables faster and more accurate execution of skills in real-life situations. •Intensity: To stimulate neuroplasticity, athletes must push their boundaries slightly beyond their comfort zones. This creates a challenge for the brain, encouraging it to form new pathways that support improved performance. •Variation: Introducing different exercises and challenges helps to prevent plateaus. By varying drills and tasks, athletes improve their adaptability, which is crucial for responding to the ever-changing dynamics of sports competition. #cometrainwithus #weknowathletes #psychologyofcoaching #thisiswhywegoata

CM7 SPARQ NOTES @coachmurphy7 We’ve had several students who were recommended by sports-specific skill set instructors from their other training environments to train with us at CM7 SPARQ. These instructors, who specialize in areas like speed, power, jumping, landing, and overall athleticism, saw that their students needed improvement in these key areas and suggested they come to us for training. To me, this is one of the greatest compliments. These instructors had never stepped foot into one of our sessions, nor did they know who I was or what I looked like. All they knew was that their students were receiving private training with me—and the results spoke for themselves. It’s a true honor to have earned their trust and to be able to make a difference in the athletes’ development. I believe it’s essential to regularly self-evaluate what is truly important in developing athletes and ensuring that we are promoting the right qualities. We need to focus on improving: ✅ Continual athletic development ✅ Durability ✅ Musculoskeletal security ✅ Proprioception ✅ Kinesthetic awareness ✅ Stability ✅ Motor recruitment, particularly enhancing Type 2 muscle fibers ✅ All while training on a single leg Research shows that 70-90% of all athletic movements are performed on a single leg. Given this, it only makes sense that 70-90% of the exercises in our curriculum should also focus on single-leg training. Yet, I often witness coaches using exercises performed on two legs side-by-side. As professionals, we have to ask ourselves: Is this really going to help improve the movements athletes need for competition? Multi-directional athletes, in particular, do not drop their hips deep in a squat when competing. We have to align our training to mimic the demands they will face on the field or court, ensuring that we are preparing them in the most functional and effective way possible. #ThisIsTheWay #IHaveSpoken #cometrainwithus #weknowathletes #psychologyofcoaching #physiologyofactivity #thisiswhywegoata

✅✅✅ WHY CHOOSE CM7 SPARQ? ✅ Mr. Collins explains why he chose CM7 SPARQ to work with his son Nathan who plays, football, basketball and lacrosse for the North Forsyth Jr. Wildcats. 🎯🎯🎯 It is a big difference with Coach Murphy than what we have experienced at other programs and facilities we have attended in the past”-Mr. Collins(Nathan’s Father) Mr. Collin’s chose CM7 SPARQ to work with his 7th grade son Nathan. Coach Murphy coached Nathan on “7th Grade Gold Team of the @georgiaeliteclassic . “We can stand all day in a garage. None of us are turning into cars. It is not what you do. It is how you do it. This is what influences change and development . This is why we always say. Come train with us. ✅✅✅ TRADITIONAL WEIGHT ROOM/TRAINING(turns off the locomotor engine) Most training programs are designed to keep athletes, etc in the “Lifting Engine”. Now when competing/changing directions, etc -the athlete puts the foot down with the Butt under and the heels go in. Traditional exercise prescription is on and off the playing surface. Creating the reverse movements pattern leading to non contact injuries. CHAIRS(turn off Back Chain Dominance technology) predispose us to flexion. As we “get stuck” in that pattern we lose access to the GOATA finish. Our SHOES(turn off IABH technology)are a “sofa” to our feet. Our feet turn off and begins to “slouch”. Turning off our inside ankle bone high technology. ✅✅✅ Here is what we do know: A. We know, Our central nervous system is highly mailable to it’s environment. B. We know, from slow motion evidence and research , that a reverse torque mechanism on the field is what is shredding the ACL. Knowing this fact, it is our responsibility to go and find out where is “reverse torque mechanism”!showing up in our lives(shoes, chairs, training) so that we can decode from this. We do have the connection, it just has not been stamped by the “higher ups”. ✅✅✅ IABH -“Arches” are not meant to collapse. Inside ankle bone high technique allows us to control the “arch” not allowing it to collapse. ✅✅✅ Inside ankle bone high technique(builds a solid foundation which allows a “gyroscopic rotary action” of the “ankle and hip hurricane complex” tied in with spine and shoulder to All Work in unison(work together as one power wave).

COACH MURPHY ON ATHLETIC-BASED STRENGTH TRAINING       In CM7 SPARQ’s Strength Academy we use exercises that increase an athlete’s mobility which is crucial to the his/her development. My first priority when developing athletes is injury prevention.  On the playing surface, in the weight room, etc, being “functional” in every rep and drill is our theme.   ·         Functional strength training ·         Functional  speed, agility and conditioning ·         Functional Flexibility ·         Proper nutritional guidance ·         Rest and Recovery ·         Needs assessment-injury prone areas pertaining to a specific sport Five Components of CM7 SPARQ’s Athletic-Based Strength Academy   * Train movements rather than body parts * Whole-body training sessions versus split training sessions * Explosive versus nonexplosive movements * Variety * Tempo   Training Movements Rather than Body Parts   The athletes who have the ability to control  their body in space will be successful. Movement training is a key ingredient to towards improving body control. At the end of the day having big arms and chest is not going to matter if the athlete is sitting on the bench. Cleans, Jerks, RDL’s, Step-ups , Front and Back Squats are implemented in our programs to emphasize movement patterns and functional training program that will transfer from the weight room to the field/playing surface.  At CM7 SPARQ, most of our exercises are ground-based. Ground Based exercises have the athletes standing on their feet producing force against the ground.  The more force an athlete can apply to the ground, the faster they will run, jump and change direction.   Whole Body Training versus Split training sessions   In most athletic situations, the whole body is active. I prefer to use total-body, upper-body and lower-body movements. Total body movements include movements of all the major joints of the body.  Lower Body movements are movements that originate from the torso down.  Upper-Body movements focus on movements above the torso. #psychologyofcoaching #cm7sparq #cometrainwithus #weknowathletes
