1. Overscoping isn't a thing! You definitely need to develop that intricate lore before you have a demo. Those cutscenes are gonna be so cool and you SHOULD try to revolutionize gaming in every aspect of your game.

My take is that most of the time it is implemented in a lazy way. Popping numbers is not enough, make it look nice, feel nice, light that number on fire if you need to
