I’m not sure if I could date someone who is also mentally ill—it feels like walking on a glass bridge, you know? But I guess it depends on the circumstances.

Everyone at the mental health hospital kept telling me that I’m a very sweet, loving, and kind person, but because I’m so introverted, not everyone gets to see that. They encouraged me to put myself out there more for dating, friendships, and connections in general. 😵‍💫

My goal in therapy and during my mental health hospital stay was to build a stronger support system, put myself out there more in relationships, and improve my communication skills.

I’m just now realizing that truly being human means embracing discomfort because being human is uncomfortable.

I’m not in the hospital anymore, and I can play video games again—it feels surreal.

You truly won’t understand what it’s like to have bipolar disorder unless you have it—it’s like jumping from a plane without a parachute.
