Palm Springs is a desert. The water supply for the area is The (DWA) Desert Water Agency .. one more time. Desert Water Agency. Without aqueducts from the Colorado river, which is 200 miles away, palm springs would just be a desert. 8 months of no rain in a desert is pretty normal. Climate change didn't create these fires. Hubris did. In fact, there are no historical records of large fires ... in the Southern California deserts before the invasion of non-native grasses. Guess who brought the grasses and all the other non native flora?? Real estate developers. Thats who. We brought in the non native flora that burns the hillside everytime nature tries to correct itself. That sounded good so I'll end with it. Its not climate change.
