This is a great idea! We've written extensively on the value of compensating community members.
Unironically - If I was in charge of a city’s budget, I’d pay social media influencers as a form of economic/business development Charlotte’s total annual budget is $4 billion Spending $1 million/year (.025% of the budget) with the right influencers, seems like a no brainer

@Tesho13 The City of Detroit has an RFP out for influencers right now. It's a great way to distribute resources and expand reach! This strategy is community engagement at its core.

Neighborhood walkability allowed better-off city dwellers to make fewer and shorter trips during COVID-19 but conferred no such benefit on low-income residents.
