ICYMI: An article in StateScoop highlights a new audit showing that none of the U.S. state websites currently meet the upcoming DOJ web accessibility standards—an urgent call to action for government agencies. The findings, published in the Web Almanac, spotlight accessibility gaps across state homepages and key pages. CivicActioner @mgifford, open standards and practices lead at CivicActions, authored the government accessibility section, providing a critical “state of accessibility” snapshot using Google Lighthouse scores. As Mike notes, “To meet the minimum requirements for accessibility, this has to be 100%.
