The city of Winston-Salem is in the process of cleaning up after Tropical Storm Debby. Sanitation Dept. crews are now collecting the debris from the downed trees in the streets and from residential debris; however, it will take some time for city crews to get to each location.

The southbound lanes in the 400 block of S. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, between Cromartie Street and Rams Drive, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 23 and 24 for tree removal. Detour information will be posted. The northbound lanes will remain open.
