In The Shadows Of War October 2023 marked the beginning of Israel’s brutal assault on the besieged Gaza Strip. Thousands of women and children killed, many of whom were buried alive beneath the rubble. How is it to be in the midst of such a war? What do these women and children endure? This book offers an authentic narrative, drawing parallels to a similar act of Israeli aggression against Lebanon in 2006. This book narrates the true story of a pregnant woman with two young daughters, caught in the heart of the 33-day conflict during Israel’s war on Lebanon.

Peshawar Nights When a young scholar from Iran visits the city of Peshawer (in now eastern Pakistan), he Is invited by the great Sunni scholars of the time to answer allegations of the Shia creedal beliefs and practices. Over ten nights, this an erudite and incredibly well-versed young scholar, Sultanul Waizin Shirazi, eloquently exposes the true Islam and the false memes levelled against the Shia, mesmerizing the audience with his in-depth knowledge of the books of the Sunni schools of thought and the Holy Quran. In these ten short nights, with his cogent arguments, sharp wit, and mastery of theology, he manages to convince the audience of the veracity of the Shia school of thought and the very Sunni scholars making the accusations. This book, Peshawer nights, is a collection of the discussions that were originally published as a periodical in Farsi by reporters who recorded the event. The compilation presented here remains an indelible legacy of the culture of scholarship in the Shia school, underlining the very core culture, that of the dominance of aql and the excellent manner in exposing the faith and the practice of Islam. Readers, both young and old, lay and scholars of all persuasions will find this enlightening book, a great source of authentic narrations and Quranic interpretations accepted by both the Sunni and the Shia. Despite being about a century old, the arguments and discussions are as relevant and fresh today as they were then.

What is the responsibility of scholars? What are their rights? Who are the scholars that must be followed? Who are the scholars we must avoid? What is the role that must be played by scholars in this age? These questions, amongst others, are raised today, waiting to be answered. Āyatullāh Sayyid Hādī Mudarrisī attempts to answer these questions by referring to the Noble Qurʾān and the Sunnah of His pure Messenger (s) and immaculate Imāms (as).

Taqiyyah: Grounds, Concepts, & Limitations This humble publication will reveal that Taqiyyah is the fruit of the environment in which liberties have been confiscated. Suppose there must be any blame or criticism. In that case, it should be directed towards those who urged the oppressed to resort to Taqiyyah – and not towards the oppressed themselves.
