Good luck to former Cardinals @Primetime_jet and @DeAndreHopkins tonight. Dream come true playing in a Super Bowl.

I don't think so. IF there was an agreement that this would take 3 years to start seeing fruit, you're not giving them the axe if that doesn't happen. It's pretty obvious to anyone with eyes Gannon is a good coach. As for Ossenfort, the jury is still out IMO. However, they have a guy in the FO already set to take that role if MB decides MO's philosophy isn't tracking anymore.

All the better. If they're picking top 5-8 next season, makes a trade up less costly. What makes more sense? Finishing mid in 2025 then trading a buttload of picks to move up in 2026? Or, move off now, secure a buttload of cap, finish in top 5-8 of draft, get your future franchise guy? The latter likely won't happen because the Cardinals are never thinking years ahead. They're still playing checkers in a world full of chess players.

Indeed. I do disagree with the multiple 1st's part. Of those teams 15th and below in the order, Pittsburgh really is the only team that makes sense. Teams higher than 15 will look towards the draft, this and next year. I'd even take a deferred 1st, 2026, with a mid/late this year. Trade him, save 14M in cap this year and 50M next year, sign a bridge QB, draft a new one in 2026. If the Cards are mid in 2025, then no worse off for the 2026 draft. That deferred 1st is now a package to move up, if needed.

Suns don't improve by trading KD for Butler.
The Heat offering Jimmy Butler and other assets for Kevin Durant could entice the Suns enough to pull the trigger on a trade, per @WindhorstESPN. Phoenix would be able to pull off a “half reset, half stay competitive” model, if they traded Durant for Butler plus more.

@DJWhite12184 2 SBs is what gets him in. He did have a couple top 3-5 seasons. Like Warner, those SB appearances matter to voters.
