Centerville Athletics is committed to partnering with our athletes to teach competing with humility, embracing adversity and pursuing excellence.

In typical Cupps fashion, Gabe signs his NLI after Breakfast Club. I have never seen Gabe miss a morning workout. This morning was no different. Indiana gets a winner, kid can flat out compete! Congrats Gabe!
The hardware earned along the way to the boys basketball state championship was delivered this morning. And after a late night House and Cupps are in gym shooting and preparing for next year.

We pride ourself on making sure we only use our twitter to share information about Elk Athletics along with pertinent athletic information & inspiration. Tonight I will deviate from that tradition and ask that the entire Elk nation pray for the Biederman family.
Huge congrats to junior Gabe Cupps who scored his 1,000 point tonight in the 2nd quarter. Gabe is the fourth ever 1,000 points score in school history. He is also now the leading all time assist leader in school history.
#StayHungry
Mind boggling that the Advisory Board created to develop the guidelines to safely reopen sports has not one representative from the OHSAA or Education Based Athletics. This is not meant to take away from these volunteers that are willing to help, but OHSAA should be at this table
At the OIAAA Athletic Director Conference in Columbus, a keynote speaker on Mental Health as it relates to athletes stated that the data is very clear. "The more parents spend on athletics(select/travel) the higher the burnout rate & the higher the rates of depression & anxiety."

My hope to all athletes and parents is that we can all work together in 2019-2020 to educate our students on the risks of using a juul. Our children have been mislead as to the health issues associated with these devises. Make a great choice and avoid juuling.
#AvoidBadChoices

What an incredible surprise today as a Ifeadi Odenigbo stopped back into Elks Country and left us an awesome gift. Ifeadi is always so giving and personable. This signed helmet was worn by Ifeadi when he sacked Trevor Lawrence!

There is only one place where you can host 2 basketball tournament games and then setup for the vaccine in the same night and be out of here by 9:30. It is no secret why this place is so great, it is filled with people who are not afraid to work their tails off. Love this place!
Coach Cupps and his son, Gabe, speaking with local leader, Charlie McMahan about Players Box and also about the journey and development of their relationship and how it has flourished through basketball. Great job men!
